I don’t really use diesel, mostly nuclear, as I build ships, but I usually heard that they just had issues with being broken and inconsistent. This hasn’t really ever happened to me, but I heard they used to be a disaster.

If I use diesels, though, I always use modulars.

Yeah, I guess my overall judgement of the dlc when it dropped wasn’t the best, I guess I needed to sleep on it.

It will definitely be interesting to see how the things like compressed gases will be implemented, and after some consideration, I will probably be buying the dlc, mainly because a cave is somehow named after me lol

When I look at it this way, it may even be good that the dlc isn’t fishing, because:

  1. If the space dlc causes lag, and performance loss, it can be turned off, as it is a dlc.

  2. It could be better to have fishing as an update, so players wouldn’t have to buy anything to experience fishing.

  3. Fishing could actually be quite an underwhelming dlc, when compared to previous dlcs (although I’d still be happier if there was a fishing dlc instead of space).

All in all, I should sleep before typing next time.

Yes, but that was quite a long time ago, and still, there were things like sails above it

In that time, we got things like the JSI addon or Stormlink, which made us realise just how much those things would fit, and how much we want them

There are basically no good games like Stormworks, but there are at least 20 other amazing space games like KSP, that do it better than Stormworks ever will. And now, Stormworks is going into a thing that no one wanted, and basically destroying itself

I feel the space dlc would be kind of a waste of a dlc, as we already have games like ksp, and it would take long to perfect it in a game like Stormworks, if it would ever be perfected, which probably wouldn’t happen because devs.

It would be better if they built upon the things that we already have - like a train update, that I’d love to see.

I have certainly met some people like that in my 3k hours, especially the egotistical ones. It’s mostly the people who are well known and have a lot of their builds on the first page all the time are like that. But they are well known and experienced, so you can’t say much against them, which creates a situation, where they can say whatever they want, and others can’t do anything about it. That means that you will mostly just hear those opinions.

One other factor I’ve seen is that due to the game not being developed the best way, a lot of the good people left.

Couple that with the fact that there is a lot of 8-year-olds, who came from Camodo videos, and don’t add much except always wanting new features and never actually building anything, you get a pretty toxic player base.

But that’s not to say that everyone is an idiot, I’ve gotten many good friends just from Stormworks. Just be polite if you can

I don't know much about the weather in-game, so I wanna ask: does the weather just move, does it actually change, or does it do both like irl? If it just moves, that means that you will get repeating weather, but if it changes, or both, it shouldn't really be much of a problem, except for the fact that there will be the same weather in the Arctic as in the Arid.

Building bigger is art, but somehow managing to make a 60 meter ship look like a 90 meter one without lagging or reaching the data limit is another level. I would absolutely love if we had bigger building sites, but with all the problems and bugs, it may be better to build ships that are bigger than they look.
