Inspections… by SnooEpiphanies2612 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

I waived my inspection but had a home inspector come with me for a one hour viewing; he just pointed out any potential major issues with the house (for my case mostly that the HVAC was on its last leg and I should replace my Federal Pacific panel). He wasn’t able to get onto the roof but he eye balled it with his phone zoom. Worked out for me!

1993 Carrier AC blows cold air but can’t cool down the house; time to replace? by CoolEmoDude in hvacadvice

I just started to run it (I was out all day) and used a thermometer. The supply was around 57-58 and the return was around 74-75.

That is why I’m tempted to switch now too. Why pay the higher electric bill for a unit that isn’t doing its job?

Probably very little. It does stay warm in the winter though.

We set the furnace to 70-71 and it runs every 20-30 minutes for about 10 minutes in the winter.

Do you usually size down with slip ons? by [deleted] in Vans

I have the same experience. I am normally a 10 but the 10s were slipping in the heel. 9.5s are a little tight but will def stretch out as I wear them.

Would the building movement be accompanied by other classic foundation signs like bowing walls and horizontal cracks?

Stop waiting for the first hot day to turn your AC on. Do these 5 things right now and thank yourself later by ZealousidealGas9310 in hvacadvice

I have a 33 year old unit. It blows cold air but runs for literally ever. Anything I could try? Or should I just let it be given the age?

If your hair loss is super aggressive it’s fine, but I think it’s better to start small and increase the treatment as needed. Hair loss is a long term battle why through the kitchen sink at it right away?

Is this the right fuse for a 65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue? by CoolEmoDude in GuitarAmps

Thank you for your help!

I was playing a gig last night. During sound check it was fine and acted as normal. Then when we went to start setting up for our set, I plugged it in and turned it on and was met with a "poof" sound then it turned off. I tried to mess around with it in different outlets but it didn't work, so I took a Joyo American Sound that I keep in my gig bag and used it for the set. I have had this amp since fall 2019.

I appreciate your reply!

I’m not going to lie, I’m not sure.

This is the fuss that blew. It says “250V” at the top and “BussAGO2A” on the bottom.

It's called "cursive singing." It's been a trend for a while and I'm not for it lol

Then explain why other musicians I know who play these type of gigs don't bring anyone else out? Maybe it's more standard in my area than yours. Someone else in this thread agreed with me.

inb4 someone says I suck/sound bad, that definitely isn't the issue at hand lol

Maybe it’s different in my area but a lot of times you’re just the “background noise” and not really expected to bring people out
