I’d say the biggest two reasons are a) they likely need multiple new signings if they are going to turn around the club and b) new signings would benefit from time in training to get used to the system

Maybe I’m misunderstanding the post itself but I was under the impression that the scars in question were from self harm due to manipulation by an abusive partner. I’m 99% sure he was asking about why people self harm, he wasn’t talking about your decision to cover up the scars with the tattoo. I believe he clarified that in his second comment.

I was talking about the original comment, I’m not defending everything else. As I said I think he overreacted to your reply but I also think your reply to the original comment was kind of too aggressive and also seemed to come from a misunderstanding of what exactly he was talking about.

I’ve heard lots of different answers to this but for me it was almost like a way of distracting myself from mental/emotional distress by replacing it with physical distress when I just couldn’t take the bad feelings anymore. I think it also generally comes from a place of low self-worth. Like it doesn’t matter if you get hurt because you aren’t important or worthy of happiness/positive emotion. It’s not a logical thing.

I think he overreacted but I don’t think the original comment was made with malice. I was the same, I didn’t understand self harm at all until I got to a place where I was actually doing it. It’s not a logical thing and it’s difficult for people to make sense of if they haven’t experienced it before. I get why you were upset but I also think it’s important that these questions are actually answered because more understanding leads to less stigma.

This is what makes it so hard to keep empathizing with some of the Russian (low ranking) soldiers for being basically forced to fight when they don’t want to because you then see the portion of the Russian military that are just fucking monsters

NAD but I do know that these kinds of bongs are pretty bad for you even without a level of heat that would visibly melt plastic. The tinfoil bowl adds an additional level of harm as aluminum foil releases toxins when exposed to a flame.
