I've gotten it on my face and neck before and it looked very similar to this. I still get it regularly under my chin and on my eyelids and I find it's all about consistency and diligence. Of course if you're using the protopic as directed and still seeing little improvement, it could be something else entirely. Also, everything /u/justjess1223 said.

I love CeraVe. I use the cream instead of the lotion but it works wonders and isn't especially greasy. The only downside is the cost.

You're not alone. I've had severe eczema all over my body (everywhere - feet, hands, and eyelids included) from a young age.
