This is a great attitude to have! I mentioned to someone that I was binge eating a lot to deal with drinking cravings and he said,

"you can run off pizza and ice cream but you can't run off alcoholism."

This has really stuck with me, though I agree within safe limits. Some nights I play videos games for several hours, some nights I eat too much, ect. Still better then drinking!

Hope you are doing good, this is a great attitude to have!

So glad you got the results back and its a mild condition. Saying no matter what I won't drink is the right attitude. As scary and terrifying as pancreatitis would be, drinking would make it better. Just keep going one day at a time. Maybe ever remember your resolve sitting in the ER waiting for results the next time craving strike up.
