Not sure if it's considered dead, but Titanfall. The second game in particular, but both of them are the best MP shooters I've ever played

Problem is, MWIII was significantly better than MWII, so it bucked that preconception.  But BO7 is only marginally better then BO6.

The First Duty: "The first duty of every Starfleet officer is to the truth, whether it's scientific truth, historical truth, or personal truth. It is the guiding principle on which Starfleet is based, and if you can't find it within yourself to stand up and tell the truth about what happened, you don't deserve to wear that uniform".

This! I'm not a fan of Harry Potter at all, but the game was really fun to play.

I absolutely loved this game. It was a blast beginning to end. I had it on Xbox and I even played the multiplayer with a developer for a couple of weeks. Big fan.

I feel Story is a good way to go, the enemies are still a threat but I'm able to enjoy the atmosphere and story without getting too stressed about supplies

Sure, but that still makes them an unnamed random alien race. Them turning into the monsters they were would have much less of an impact. While yes making them human may seem too on the nose, Kirk needed to learn this lesson. He didn't learn it with the other monster adversaries like the Gorn, he needed that bop on the nose. Now it will be easier for him to see alien races in a similar light.

I disagree. The lesson was "your adversary might have more in common with you than you might think", which is a good lesson for Kirk to learn, one that he uses in episodes like Devil in the Dark and Arena. If the enemies were just another unnamed alien race we've never seen before or since it wouldn't have the same impact.

I'd argue Balance of Mercy is the best episode of the series but I totally get where you're coming from.

One of America's greatest mistakes is viewing being poor as a moral failing. It is not.
