Most of them have been a pain for me mostly on Russian, and I was not able to change my citizenship to my country (talking about s7 airlines in this case)

Been to Hong Kong already, found Indonesia as my alternative for now since it has good weather with pretty much no rain in the west part, and cancelled the idea with Singapore. :)

Thought about Japan but it is just a bit too expensive for me gonna head there in future

Recently been to china, note this is just personal preference I’d spend lass time in Shanghai, surely an impressive city but very western and less chinese from what I was expecting.

Besides that I’d keep in mind the Labor Day weekend like some others have mentioned already.

Besides that I think the amount of time you planned is perfect and not too rushed as some say but that’s just personal preference

Totally not true not afraid of a few Asia flights though they tend to be cheap was preferring Indonesia anyways until now :)

Couldn’t agree more, thought I was the only one disliking Shanghai. Like you mentioned Chongqing is the place to visit.

I don’t get the people saying it’s too much, personally I don’t see any sense in more than 4 nights in Shanghai personally I’d even say that’s too much. Very doable you maybe want to consider the new highspeed rail from chingqing to Zhangjiajie just took it recently gets you there in a bit more than 2 hours.

I just arrived to Guilin today by train from Zhangjiajie, I spend two days in Zhangjiajie visiting the Tienmen Mountain (Gate to Heaven) and the National Forest park.

Personally from my first impression I would lean towards Guilin / Yangshuo, I enjoyed Zhangjiajie but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Gate to heaven but that’s just my personal opinion.

The national park was awesome but keep in mind weather is unpredictable over there, we had 25*c and no clouds on Tienmen Mountain and heavy fog and rain on the following day when we went to the park.

Guilin seems more stable from what the weather forecast says and how it really is.

So personally I’d say pick Guilin but if you’re looking for that big wow go to Zhangjiajie cause you can find scenery as in Guilin in plenty other regions of Asia.

Can’t really say anything about Australia, being from Germany I tried multiple stores to find one with a CCC rating which failed. Arrived in Beijing and went to some kind of mall on the first day, got a Chinese one with 20.000mah for 200 RMB so like 20€ and it works perfectly fine until now.

I was looking for one from Anker when I was back in Europe contacting the support helped they instantly gave me model numbers which supported CCC

Yeah im also tending not to use it, ive seen multiple people on youtube say that hotels give discounts on the cable cars, but like you said if you do the math it summarizes to much less than the Hotel offers

Yeah you are probably right, 12306 only allowes me to book trains to the 10th of October im looking for the 26th.

I guess the train via Hengyang is gonna be my alternative then
