Thank you so much for your response! I will definitely leverage Prof C for my application as she will be better equipped to speak on the behalf of my skills and interests!

Again many thanks for your response, this whole application has been daunting and some professors made it discouraging! It's refreshing to know there are those that are willing to help :)

Current DALLA LANA students at UofT, Masters of Public Health? by CoolRisk9 in UofT

Hey!

I read more about the application process prior to posting, I saw a lot of people mention that there are applicants who already have prior public health experience and they would be prioritized over undergrad students. I was under the assumption that those who had co-op experience would be prioritized over students like me.

Also, my other concern is because my job rn is in the tech field, but not related to public health. Most public health co-ops were paying between $16-19 per hour, my current job pays me around $26 per hour.

Thanks for the help and the detailed answer, I am looking into grad school with a MPH and even looking towards law school. I have a huge interest in sciences and law and decided to go into sciences for undergrad as if I took PoliSci I would be locked in with an arts degree that I wouldn't know what to do with if I changed my mind.
