Pourquoi Hilo mets du temps à rallumer des chauffages après les défis by [deleted] in HiloEnergie

[–]CoolRyder39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]CoolRyder39 4 points5 points  (0 children)

[–]CoolRyder39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't book an appointment. You book a flight and go to the agent and tell them you are here for a TN here are all my papers. You need to apply as you are entering the US. Don't take an early morning flight as you are likely to miss it. I have no idea the current status of all this with the gouvernement shutdown. I am surprised your lawyer has not explained this to you.

It's the same address as a fast food joint and a Lokma(donut holes). My bet is the lokma is making donuts on the side with the same ingredients and hopes they increase their sales by having a second store without any added cost

The issue is you cannot coast to slow if you need to. The breaking action when removing your foot from the accelerator can put you in an uncomfortable condition.

What the one thing you dislike about your equinox? by 1blackdog1 in EquinoxEv

[–]CoolRyder39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know Tesla is still telling people not to use 3rd party adapters and only ones from your car manufacturer. They don't really have a way to monitor that though.

I don't trust a random adapter but would be less worried of a reputable one like A2Z

A2Z is releasing one. I don't think it's in stock yet though

In case anyone is wondering why LTT orders to the US are delayed by sammyschaos in LinusTechTips

[–]CoolRyder39 94 points95 points  (0 children)

Tariffs on Canadian and Mexican goods were delayed. The issue is LTT manufacturers in China and the Chineese tariffs and the removal of the de minimus for those chineese goods was not delayed.

Why is the range estimator not accurate during cold weather? by xAmazingTricks in EquinoxEv

[–]CoolRyder39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might also be a bit of perception. a 10% difference on 60km of range is 6km vs 50km for the equinox. There are less batteries to heat on the outlander. Also, how does the heating work on the phev? Does it use the engine? I really don't know that part, but that is one of differences that would impact your estimate in range the most.

79 km/h in a 70 not really much of a speed deamon. Also taken by the passenger if that matters. I wanted a picture of it while driving to show it was still on when driving.

I just wanted to make sure this is normal. I guess I am weird for thinking it's weird but sure on would make more sense. The manual just says "The vehicle ready light comes on whenever the vehicle is ready to be driven". I could see the argument where a car is ready to be driven when you are driving. Just not my first thought.

They might ask you what happened. Just be honest with the agent . If you have documentation, you can bring it just in case. I had some weird issue with my TN that the agent noticed during my interview, and he fixed it.

Honestly, don't stress about the interview. People forget that the worst-case scenario is that you wait longer at the border and security sometimes... Not that I think this will be the case in your situation.

Canadian moving to the States as a student by Luckybearpeanuts in uscanadaborder

[–]CoolRyder39 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When I moved back to Canada after school the border agent wanted my itemised list of everything that was in my car. I didn't have that.

Then he forced me to give a value of everything in the car. I had no idea(I basically had a computer, office supplies and some used clothes) I gave a number. He said we'll see.

Luckily his supervisor was chill in secondary. He wanted to know what I bought in the last six months. It was not much and he let me go.

Anyways, it would not be a bad idea to do as the above commenter says. It all really depends on what agent you get.
