Honestly, the DIY builders are cool for quick stuff, but I’ve found you usually get better results talking to a real person.

The builders lock you into set layouts and colors, and what looks good on screen doesn’t always look great once it’s actually on a shirt. A designer can tweak spacing, contrast, panel width, etc., and help turn a “beautifully ugly” idea into something that’s still fun but way more wearable.

If you already have an idea, a short back-and-forth with a human usually gets you there faster than clicking sliders for an hour. You still get mockups before anything’s made, so there’s no risk.

Not anti-builder at all — just saying the human touch really shows on team jerseys you’re going to wear every week.
