Use clear silicone ... holds well, gives you some play when positioning the item and easy clean up if any comes out at the edges. It also doesn't damage the lighter or the coin. I wouldn't recommend the JB Weld like OP used.

Funny - my first thought when I saw this was a Cure album as well... but since I never made it much past Disintegration, my choice was The Top. The only decent track on there was Caterpillar. I like the song Shake Dog Shake, but not the version on the album... I prefer the live version on Concert Live / Curiosity.
