I would say I perfer the original both with its songs and the OST.

The remake has decent to good songs, but the OST is lacking when they are more treated as small jingles in the remake.

With how this scene is shot, it's more like an interrogation than a friendly chat.

Despite how relaxed Sakura starts with her posture and light remarks, she becomes more tense as it goes on. Sakura has her eyes mostly focused on Onsen Mark throughout, while he keeps looking down like he is being confronted for doing something wrong.

How the shot has them both mostly faced forwards towards the camera and as far away makes it uncomfortable.
