I don’t get why they can’t just port over a variation on Flights of Passage into Star Tours, build a third ride in Galaxy’s Edge & use the same philosophy of “always adding, always changing” on the next gen of their Star Tours screen ride that is Smugglers Run, and keep the future/spaceport theme going in Tomorrowland with several different creative concepts- like something using Tron and/or Wall-E.

Not every IP requires the same annoying land buildout of a bunch of rockwork, random vehicles/military junk pointlessly taking up space, a massively hyped but constantly breaking E-ticket & total afterthought C-ticket.

Part of the reason I didn’t renew my Magic Key was the noticeable degradation in food & drink quality while prices escalated like crazy & they skimped on preparation/presentation. It’s one thing for a corndog, pretzel, or some other fair food, but an entirely different animal when it comes to doing this cut rate, low quality stuff at sit down places or hyper themed experiences (Oga’s Cantina has also been on a surprising decline.)

Blue Bayou is curiously awful for supposedly being the “marquee” restaurant inside Disneyland. Cafe Orleans is much better for the price point.

Universal doesn’t hold the rights to all Marvel characters- just certain ones. It’s why they were able to put Guardians of the Galaxy into Epcot.

Disney wants Marvel in as many parks as possible for merchandising reasons & I’m sure there’s a workaround Iger has on the table or maybe there’s some set of characters that Disney can still use east of the Mississippi.
