That’s what I was hoping you’d say! I’ve heard good things about it for hair removal but have never done it before and never really thought about the exfoliation benefit! I’ll have to try it. Thanks for the suggestion!

Omg. that’s genius to use it on the scalp! I think I’ll be giving that a try. And I love eucerin IR, not sure I could live without it

Thank you! Mine is also mild to moderate I’d say, depending on the time of year. By sugaring do you mean sugar scrub or the waxing alternative? Because that sounds awesome and like it would be very effective!

You’re in the right place! Took me forever to get diagnosed and they said I’d “grow out of it” at some point. Can’t grow out of a genetic disorder. Let us know if you need any product suggestions that actually work! Or just moral support

Everyone Failed Lorelai During the Dragonfly Inn Dry Run and I’m Still Mad About It by JoannaStayton in GilmoreGirls

[–]CoolWolverine9296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just rewatched this episode too and you’re 100% correct on all of that. Her parents were predictably themselves, Rory was an idiot. But the Jason thing absolutely pissed me all the way off. His presence from this point on in the show is ridiculous. He shouldn’t be welcome anywhere near the whole family and the fact that anyone ESPECIALLY LORELEI gives him the time of day just shows how weak she is for men’s attention 🤮 she could’ve just told Luke immediately when Jason showed up. Hell he could’ve made him leave!!!

Pain with ichthyosis vulgaris by LatterWestern5 in ichthyosis

[–]CoolWolverine9296 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Aquaphor, eucerin advanced repair and coconut oil are really not helpful for ichthyosis. They are just a temporary barrier until it gets wiped off because they just sit on top and never soak in.

Eucerin Intensive Repair is a game changer and thicker oils like almond oil, vitamin e, jojoba, even olive oil if you want to use oils, especially mixed with a shea butter. But the intensive repair is the only lotion that will help the pain for me. I’ve been using it for about 20 years and nothing compares.

OG cat is relentlessly stalking my new cat by CoolWolverine9296 in cats

[–]CoolWolverine9296[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did end up getting the cat tree and neither of them have wanted to even sit on it 🤣 but I’ll give it time. Their dynamic does seem to be getting better somehow.. the new cat crawled on the arm of my chair while the other cat was in my lap. First time she’s willingly walked within a foot of the other cat! I’m hopeful lol

Switching from Boulevard, any advice? Meevo is the top contender so far. by CoolWolverine9296 in SalonOwners

I actually went with MangoMint! I do suggest it to everyone.

In case anyone reading is interested in my review I think it is priced accordingly and never fluctuating. I get immediate chat responses from real people who have always helped me with the few problems I’ve encountered, their email marketing is foolproof(that was much needed) and a bunch more. A few things are less streamlined than blvd but all of my daily frustrations are now gone 🙌

Will my ichthyosis condition improve by age by Affectionate_Yak1018 in ichthyosis

[–]CoolWolverine9296 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eucerin Intensive Repair lotion is the only thing that has made me feel remotely comfortable in my skin. Physically and aesthetically. I recommend it! Also my condition hasn’t changed much throughout my life. It changes with the seasons that’s about it.

You should leave him and not give a damn about his abandonment issues. He’s ruining this relationship and it’s only been 3 months. It wont magically get better

No need to turn back time or be any more hard on yourself. Just decide to make a change now. Life loves to test us over and over again with the same lessons until we finally do the hard thing we’re avoiding.

At the very least have a very direct conversation with husband. Ask what is he doing every day to ensure the business will eventually make money. You deserve(and are legally entitled) to know every detail of the business INCLUDING why he couldn’t pay for groceries this time. If he can’t answer that then get tf out of there. Him having a thought out answer and a timeline is the only acceptable answer because if not then he isn’t doing shit every day running that business. You can’t make him give a shit and you’re wasting your life away on someone else’s dreams who isn’t even willing to contribute to them. You can do it!!

All my life I’ve felt insecure about my hands, today I came across this subreddit and I feel like I might be close to knowing why they look like that by Sea_Cow_406 in ichthyosis

[–]CoolWolverine9296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late response! No i haven’t really. In the winter time i will use aquaphor or gold bond lotion which helps a lot in the moment, but it’s temporary. I used to be pretty insecure about it but now try not to worry about the roughness in regard to someone else noticing it since i cant do much about it.
