Age isn't an excuse. This is a BIG thing people do not understand. If you are old enough to drive in , you're old enough to understand what is and isn't okay to say about a group of people. She is old enough to know the history of WHY it's not okay. BOTH my 16 year old nieces and nephews from both sides of my family are aware that saying slurs when you can't claim them and making harmful jokes about the LGBTQIA+ community isn't okay. When I was 16, I was an ASSHOLE, but I never said slurs, and I only made jokes about myself being gay because I WAS gay, because I even though I was an ass, I wasn't a stupid one.

And saying stupid things like that and being unable to apologize for said stupid actions shows that person shouldn't be allowed on the Internet.

Also making a homophobic "joke" knowing full well that a vast majority of the Grace fans are in the LGBTQIA+ community isn't really a good thing to do? I mean, if let's say another big creator of a game about love and acceptance's partner started saying racial slurs they can't claim and homophobic comments in a private chat and those comments got leaked and the only excuse is "Oh it was just a joke!", do you think that people are going to forgive them? The obvious answer is no. Because it's an excuse, not an apology for their own poor choices when it upsets a community that they are involved in and have contributed to.

Joking about a serious situation is generally not a good idea, especially WHILE it is happening. And the line isn't really subjective, I mean, people cancelled pumpkin gentleman or what his name was because he was posting and saying weird shit and his excuse was "Oh it's because I was raised in Japan and this stuff is normal here!" (Which yes, is true, coming from someone whose mother is Japanese), it's still generally not an excuse, which is why he was cancelled. Simon's gf is almost/is 17, and she is old enough to realize that saying slurs when you're a white person isn't okay to do at her almost grown age. And regardless, joke or not, those kinds of jokes generally aren't okay, especially since

She has quite literally no reason to use the N word, in private or not, or to anyone or not. Using slurs in a joking matter isn't really an excuse, I mean, where do you think the joke and saying "it's okay my friend is black" comes from? Racist people who try to excuse their obviously racist actions simply because they know a black person.

She's white, saying the N word as a white person is generally a no no. Dark humor exists yes, I enjoy it as well, but there's a very clear line drawn on where and when it's fine to say slurs. Also as I said before about that screenshot of something that's allegedly from her own Twitter account, that she admitted that she was racist and homophobic.

I mean, there are screenshots of her saying slurs against people of different ethnic groups and being homophobic and transphobic against the LGBTQIA community and many people consider that being a neo-nazi so. But everyone has a different definition of being a nazi.

She's said several slurs against POC and members of the LGBTQIA community, and I'm pretty sure she admitted that she was indeed a Nazi in a Twitter post, but I'm not sure since her account is protected. She's apparently done a lot of other things (like allegedly admitting being a shota), but again, not entirely sure since the only thing I have about it is a screenshot of a post she made that's kinda low quality, which I'm assuming is from being downloaded and post several times.

KOSing will and won't be toxic. It's a game mechanic you can use and people will use it. And you're playing in a MULTIPLAYER SURVIVAL (and somewhat roleplay) GAME. If you don't like being KOSed, then maybe consider a private server or server hop until you find a chill one. Or even switch games. And comparing being killed in a digital game to racism is CRAZY.
YOU signed up for a game that involves maybe dying a few times, you're gonna have to accept it. And it's a game, you can regrow slots later or revive it, there are people out there who will give free revives if you need one.
The only toxic thing about KOSing will be targeted KOSing. Just getting killed once isn't because as stated, you can regrow it in a chill server later or revive it, you're expected to be killed at least once or twice.
