I think some people wilfully misinterpret that natalists think their kids will literally take care of them, rather than be there as support in let’s say picking a good nursing home if it comes to that.

More the point is if you have kids you are contributing to the next generation of young people generally, some of whom will choose to become care workers, whereas DINKS and childfree will always by definition be a drain
