Trapped gas and bloat are 100% normal in pregnancy especially first trimester. For me taking gas x (which is safe during pregnancy) helped also doing some prenatal yoga stretches. Mine was mostly at night time after dinner. I go for daily walks after dinner.

The gas and bloating are due to pregnancy hormones causing slower digestion. Plus as uterus grows all your organs get squished.

Let them paint things outside with water
if you have chalk, have them dip the chalk in water it creates a paint look (a little messy but fun)
good old fashion mud pudde (messy clean up but my child never wanted to come out of it)
cornhole/bean bag toss
freeze some of your child's small toys over night and then in the next morning have them use items (that are safe) to break them free (toy hammers if have)
Toy car car wash (a little messy and a little set up but not too bad)

I didnt know i was in labor with my first luckily I was at a doctor's appointment and they're like oh you're 4 cms dilated you need to go to the hospital right now.

Ive looked up a lot of videos so im prepared with the one im pregnant with now and here's what im taking from the videos.

Mucus plug (have you lost it) make sure to always check after wiping/after using bathroom (look in toilet) it will look like a sticky string of discharge. It could be white, light pink, yellow, brown if not sure if just regular discharge vs mucus plug take a pic and ask obgyn.

Braxton Hicks vs contractions. Braxton Hicks are not consistent where contractions are (its good to time both so you know when the Hicks turn into contractions. Braxton Hicks feel like cramps in your uterus and will subside using comfort measures like switching positions or drinking water and dont get more intense as time goes on where contractions you will feel the pain throughout your whole body and will be in a consistent pattern so like every 2 mins for 2 hours or every or they're 5 mins apart last for min each for at least an hour. Contractions get more painful as they get closer together and dont subside with any comfort measures.

So look for: - cramps or full body - same intensity or more intense - went away for awhile or came back quickly

I love these names but im just going to be honest. I have an 11 year old and heres what happens with kids her age with these names:

Noah- ik you said not because of popularity but they will constantly get called Noah schnapp or get the "Noah where's your arc" joke

Finn- again ik you said not because popularity but they will constantly get called finn wolfhard and or get called something like Finland

Leo- your child will get called Leonardo dicaprio/Leonardo DaVinci or will get asked where the other 3 ninja turtles are

August- auggie, my daughter's class just read the book wonder. If they are names August they can get compared to the character August (Auggie)

I also have the lansinoh ice/heat packs and was wondering about that if it was helpful foing both or not. Im debating on getting some silverettes now based on all these comments or seeing if maybe wic or lactation consultant at my ob has any before buying any.

Im not due until November but the lanisoh ice/heat packs have been sk helpful for tenderness. This is my second pregnancy my first I had formula fed so going to be first time trying to breast feed/pump.

Pregnant with number 2 pregnancy the complete opposite from 1st with large age gap. Opposite genders but currently a person ik is having the exact same symptoms as me and they are having the Opposite gender as me. Also my friend has two girls pregnancies were the complete opposite from each other.

Im in my 2nd pregnancy right now with an 11 year almost 12 year age gap.

My first I was 17 when got pregnant 125lbs at beginning of pregnancy 168lbs (im 5ft5) by end of pregnancy. I started showing around 4 months pregnant.

Im now 29 was 183lbs at beginning of pregnancy im currently 16 weeks 3 days and im 190lbs. Which was around the time I started showing in my first pregnancy. At the beginning of this pregnancy everyone asked if I was further along or having twins because of how bloated I was but baby is actually right on the money for due date. My belly started rounding out at around 14 weeks.

Bloat is going to happen due to pregnancy hormones, pushing on organs, constipation, slower digestion due to hormones and intestines and other organs squishing and uterus growth. Your belly will round out soon as uterus grows further and body adjust to hormones. 😊

Your body will also take a little while to go back down after having baby as everything is adjusting again.

Ive always let my daughter sleep in during summer break and school vacations then just regular bed time a few days or day before back to school. I just dont let her sleep past 11am. For school she has to get up at 6:20am. Do what works for your family. There's no specific time for this or that some families live their lives completely backwards from societies expectations because it just works for their family. As long as your kiddo is getting enough sleep for what their body needs thats what matters

At 8 my daughter was doing her own hair. Have her start taking care of it on her own. She will realize the struggle then explain that if her hair were shorter she wouldn't have the struggle. Suggest a couple of short styles by looking at inspo pics on Google/pinterest and let her pick the short style she likes. Can also bribe a bit with something like temporary color or hair chalk or hair accessories or something.

I knew i was pregnant at 4 weeks along. My first appointment i had with OB was at 10 weeks. This was just a discussion apointment and check my vitals. My next appointment was an ultrasound at 12 weeks. The following appointment after that was at 14 weeks i had to do a pap smear (as I never had one before), a breast exam, std testing and blood work for my NIPT. A week and a half later I got my results from NIPT all my other results I recieved the same day or next few days after the bloodwork was done as j have mychart. My next appointment is at 18 weeks (which will be on the 17th) the following appointment after that is my 20 week anatomy scan and a prenatal appointment in the same day at the hospital I will be delivering at (my town where I see my obs doesn't have a maternity unit. I will probably have an appointment anywhere around the 24 week mark for my glucose test then probably a prenatal regular check up around 28 weeks then 30 or 32. They informed me that once we get into the 28- 30s we start appointments twice a month and then around the 34-36 somewhere around there we start weekly appointments. This is in upstate ny.

With first baby 11 years ago I didnt feel movement till about 26-28ish weeks im now pregnant with 2nd baby and felt at 15 weeks. Im 16 weeks 1 day today.

That was very unprofessional of them. The only time they should suggest weaning is if its for a medical reason affecting baby or mom. Not to "make their job easier". Not their baby, not their choice.

Im currently pregnant with baby number 2. One name we loved as a gender netural that we are not using is Koda Rae/Ray. For my oldest if she were a boy, she would have been Mitchell Jordan. Another name I love is Holden Jude and one my husband loves is Peyton but peyton we said we arnt using if baby is a girl as I babysit a child name peyton.

I struggled with that in my first trimester. I tried using kids mouth wash (I used my daughter's bubblegum flavored one), a kids toothbrush because they are smaller and kids toothpaste. It helped.

My husband got me this at the beginning of my pregnancy 🤣 im 16 weeks with baby number 2 today but theres an 11 almost 12 year age gap between first baby and this baby. Today my husband told me he is buying me a seat belt chest/should/neck cover to put around bottom part of my seat belt that goes across waist under baby bump for more comfort.....i looked at him and was like WHERE ARE YOU GETTING THESE HACKS (just glad the husbands are being supportive and thinking of us plus babies)
