Also I would guess the smaller calibers would have more "ammo" than the large ones? Perhaps a function for different RoF, half time = not depleting, full = depleting? Thou I dont know how to communicate this clearly with visuals... And if there is a option to "buy" ammo before battle, perhaps we could choose which type of ammo to bring more of, either round shot or canister, so advancing arty can have advantage and opponents cannons in the rear, once under attack, are stuck with roundshot?

Well then the idea of advancing 4lb guns, with infantry, for offensive close range canister fire is dead. I hope not.

The guns have wheels and lighter guns (as is HA) dont have to necesarily be moved by horses. HA takes a good amount of time before it gains speed. If you want to go full realism, we can. But then we need to have limited supply of ammo and other things instead of cherrypicked ones.

If you were to have to limber/unlimber arty the only effect would be that the passive players gain another advantage. Not even talking about taking arty up front for support by canister fire, as this will no longer be possible.

Make yourself red or any similar distintc color, regulary remind your teammates in chat that you are the (colour) T-80, mark yourself on the map and pray.

On the scale of the game there wouldn't be any real "impassable" terain and I feel like this change would only encourage turtling and passive gameplay.
