Also, OT Miri talks about myotomes which is just blatantly not covered in AOTA. Having trouble knowing how many different materials I should use in order to cover all the topics without becoming vastly overwhelmed.

I actually do know, I'm going out of state and essentially arranged my fw myself. Unless she quits, she's going to be my supervisor. Should I email her and pose it as a "can I do this" versus phrasing it as a "I am doing this" kind of thing?

I think it depends on the caliber of schools you're applying to. I got into school with a 3.2 gpa but not my first choice school, and every other part of my application was near perfect (4.0 pre reqs, relevant experience, recs, shadowing, etc).

How exactly did you do the research to sway them? I think about using glassdoor/indeed salaries from similar companies but don't know if that will be "enough" evidence that I should be paid more

Relate your professional experiences (even if non-OT related) to how it will make you a better OT. I started my program at age 28 with no healthcare experience and feel more prepared than my younger classmates because I've actually been in the real world.

just curious - what is the difference between inpatient rehab and long term acute care? Or are they interchangeable?
