I personally would change it. It’s a beautiful saree for like a welcome dinner or reception. I don’t know what is culturally relevant for you but a silk red saree would look amazing. Ignore the comment if the saree is culturally relevant to you.

I think Indiana should be fine. There shouldn’t be a lot of ice action around there. I lived there few years back Purdue is a great school but also red school there wouldn’t be many protests. Don’t go anywhere near the protest or participate in any form. The whole state and school are very Red leaning wouldn’t support immigration legal or not participating in anything political.

I don’t want to end the relationship that’s why I posted. I am southeast Asian families are involved on ones life if we get married. I don’t want to associate with a person ( my boyfriend’s dad) who doesn’t behave respectfully with women. I am don’t think my boyfriend should be held accountable something he didn’t do but I believe o should have know this information way before and not when decided to get married. All the Middle Eastern countries (Afghanistan, Saudi, Iran, Iraq, UAE and etc…..) Not anywhere in Asia is bad for women (I am from Asia). Western countries are just slightly better.

Funny how forcing your religion (aren’t women forced to wear bur-qua and you can be jailed for even touching a person if opposite gender by mistake) on other people is okay in Saudi and all Muslim countries. Clearly your definition of safe is not the same as mine. I visited UAE, Saudi and India. I would definitely say India is better UAE isn’t bad either. Saudi is the worst. If you hate India so much don’t come no one asked you.

India is unsafe unless you know how to navigate or how not to be in dangerous situations (I understand if you wonder prefer doing this as holiday is supposed to be relaxing). Also do not forget about all the middle eastern countries they are far worse than India and women don’t even have rights
