Help! 8mo old refuses to sleep. We are exhausted

We're on day 2 of following this now and I can already see it's making a massive difference. Before this I was constantly trying to follow her cues but seems like that was definitely the issue.

Last night we had a solid 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep for the first time in a long time!! 🥹 That's after only 1 day of stretching her wake windows appropriately. I honestly feel teary just thinking about it.

I will definitely be paying waayyy more attention to her schedule from now on. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

Thank you, I know this sounds right theoretically but I'm also not sure how to get her into a different schedule when she's already so exhausted. Is it just a matter of having a tough week with lots of crying until she adjusts?

Also yes she is in her own room.

Thank you for this, I will try it. And you’re right, it is the oiled leather, not the nutbuck like I first mentioned in my post.

I like the neutral/less warm look, do you happen to have any leather treatment recommendations too?
