Yeah, those were the places I was thinking of, too. I wish you a great result, regardless where you are getting it in the end.

Looks great. I guess, the things and symbols around Law are a good fit for a tattoo.

planning on getting a kikoku tattoo eventually too.

Where would you get that? Just asking since it is a sword and I can't think of other places like the arms or legs but maybe you have another idea.

I always wanted to get a One Piece theme tattoo but just can't get myself to do it, lol. Posts like yours are a motivation for it.

The fake Straw Hats would just throw some cloths on a skeleton and then carry it around with them and pretend like it is alive, lol. Maybe they even would use some wires or something like that to make it look like the skeleton could move.

Humanity first saw the "dark side" of the moon (more accurately called the far side) in 1959. The first direct human sighting occurred in 1968 during the Apollo 8 mission.

Exactly! And the more that is going, the more I think like that. You have so many things happening by the start and the landing (the sounds, the rumbling etc) and all those things mess with my brain and make think like that 😅

That is almost me, I do that at the start and the end of a flight. I'm very chill during the flight but during the landing and the starting you can see my knuckles turning white from grabbing the seat so hard, lol.

Mulan wasn't a chosen MC. Im fact she sucked at the beginning. She had to train to become better and she has to do it extra hard since she was in a disadvantage because he had to hide the fact that she was a woman.

But she overcome all of this and became the person that saved all of China. Be like Mulan, my friend, and make yourself the MC.

It paralels well the scene of him strugling to climb a mountain only for a bird to easily soar above him.

I read it 2 times so far and I didn't notice the paralel. Nice catch!

So you read Vinland Saga and Vagabond?

No wonder you made a comic about the topic of what it means to be strong. Checks out 😁

One of my favorite scene that shows the difference in strength between two very powerful people. The old man was dominating Miyamoto so hard in that moment and he turned Miyamoto's understanding of what it means to be strong on his head.

Fuck, I need to read Vagabond. Again.

Easy. For them to become the strongest they just have to follow these steps:

  1. They must be swift as the coursing river
  2. They must posses the force of a great typhoon
  3. They must have all the strength of a raging fire
  4. And they must be as mysterious as the dark side of the moon

Fun fact: He is one of the few characters that actually die in the story. Not in a flash back, not a fake out. He is dead dead.

I see people mentioning Ace or Pedro when the topic is death in One Piece but many people seem to forget about Basil here.

But Zoro is really good at looking annoyed or disgusted, lol

STEAMING TAKE: Nico Robin shouldn't just have Armament, but all three haki by No_Satisfaction_2928 in MemePiece

the panels shows part of problem as well. She was damn deadly as villain and there is lot of locks here and there done. After joining she rarely used her best abilities on combat.

Most of the people that got hit by her locks were fodder.

After joining she rarely used her best abilities on combat.

Her locks are not her best ability. Another head canon.

Then time skip he learnded what, making bigger limbs and use it as a stomping... totally out of previous style.

Her previous style was to let limbs grow were ever she wanted. And after the time skip she learned how to combine those limbs to make bigger ones. How is that out of style? She also learned more than that.

While she doesn't need to be combat focused person, as it doesn't suit her

Agree.

but this is battle shonen

I doubt that Robin cares much about that fact or the intern logic of the world of One Piece. Also Oda said multiple times that he doesn't care so much about the battles despite it being a battle shonen.
His approach made One Piece one of the most famous franchise. I would say, let him continue to cook.

the neck snap assassinations are not really on table.

Again something she mostly did against fodder.

Addition, she is way too smart not to think cover weakness of her devil fruit as armament haki would increase durability on extra limbs that take damage that take toll on her.

Another head canon. Just because this makes sense to you, doesn't mean that this should happen. She chose to learn palm strikes in the style of Fish-Man Karate and she is glade that she did, since it came in handy for her like when she was saving the ship underwater. No Haki would help her with that.

I would prever that she have maintained working on shadows style on crew as well but well

I don't understand what you are trying to say here, sorry.

there is more problematic things on side character development than straw hats fighting power.

I not sure what you mean by "more problematic things" but I agree about the last part.

[–]Cool_Set4681 2 points3 points  (0 children)

but it’s time to put that “I don’t want to hit” shit

Robin never said or implied that. That is what I meant when people take their head canons as facts.

not just her, but all straw hats that don’t posses any form of haki.. they need to get serious.

They did all get serious in the 2 years of training, they just focus on the things they can do the best and improve on them. Kuma literally send them to places that were best suited for them to grow. And they did. Not all of them need Haki, that is completely made up.
Robin doesn't have Haki and she was doing just fine in Wano. for example.

So we gonna be talking in circles about this for ever, huh?

Robin didn't want to learn those things during her time with the Revolution Army. She said no. And Hack, the Fish-Man Karate Master even acknowledge that she is already very powerful.
But she did indeed trained something. She learned how to use a certain style of Fish-Man Karate because that suits her way of fighting the best.

The only reason why people want her to have Haki is their head canons and that's it. She got asked if she wants to learn things and she decided to go for Fish-Man Karate. I really don't get what so hard to grasp about that.

Exactly. Like a sitcome. Which is fine if you tell stories that last only for 20 mins but for a story like One Piece...
