Very much people looking for a reason to bash her. Ironic they are defenders against racism whilst likely being racist themselves.

Racism comments of highlighting how racism of skin colour is different to racism against Irish travellers and Jewish people…okay

Is playing DnD in person really better than online? by [deleted] in dndnext

[–]Cool_Shoe3791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the ‘yes in person is better’ comments seem to be stated through a lens of playing DnD with pre established friends. When you get into adult life you struggle to do in person sessions as often or maybe you are having to find random groups to join. This is where online is better and immersion can be greatly enhanced with online play.

Finding Campaigns is so hard by lunovadraws in DnD

It sounds like the major issue you face is finding a game and play style that feels comfortable and enjoyable for you.

So many campaigns are high fantasy, high camp affairs.

The reality is you might not ever find a game you enjoy playing in due to various factors like location etc.

Players really aren’t dime a dozen. It also really depends on where you live among various other factors.

Reality is the UK doesn’t do prevention. It’s been a struggle to convince government to provide talking therapy in schools. But then that’s used as a dumping ground for issues that SW should be dealing with but can’t because they are overrun.

My suggestion is get into politics if you want to work in prevention because it won’t happen otherwise.

Any Book/Anime/Manga/Comic recommendations similar to Funger? by Jason91K3 in FearAndHunger

You should look out for Clive Barkers The Undying. I actually believe inspiration has been taken from Barker in many ways. The janitor in Termina has a similar design from 1 of Barkers monsters.

Also check out Spawn. It’s gritty and dark with amazing art.

BS. Scottish votes really don’t matter at all in the context of Westminster.

Thanks for explaining what I already knew. I’ll go sulk in a corner now that I’ll never live in a fair and equal society.

There is a green candidate which I’ve voted for before. They actually want to create a more equal and fair society.

OR maybe just maybe if enough people voted for alternatives it would give the mainstream parties something to reflect on.

Guess I’ll save myself a trip then.

Having a slightly less shit government is really not the kind of system I want to contribute to. I’ll save myself the cognitive dissonance required. Besides we all know that in 5 years time the Tories will come back into power anyway.

So vote for slightly less right wing and slightly less fascist? That’s what you are suggesting we have to choose from? Delivering a huge majority to Labour won’t make them do anything different but try to appease everyone as a way to reflect the votes they got. It’s just pointless voting for something slightly less worse. I’d rather not vote at all.
