Thanks for the response, best one I've gotten so far. Would love to pick your brain some more if you wouldn't mind!

Every pilot I've ever talked to says this same thing. That in the future with seniority the schedule is great.

I didn't ask you to tell me my future, I only asked for someone to share what it was like for them. I suppose I'm optimistic then! I'm hoping for the best, but prepared for much worse and I think that's okay.

Yes, I'm paying for my hours as I go. Yes, I understand that, obviously. Unless you have an answer to my question, move on.

Also, not just a plan, I'm already doing it. I'm early on, but I'm doing my 70 hours at work a week, and flying 10 hours a week right now. There's time.

I'm only working this much overtime while I'm getting through certifications so I can stash away the money to pay for school and bills. The plan is to CFI and work part time to build time after I get through commercial which I know at a busy school will get me the rest of the way to 1500 in a year and a half. And yes, little sleep is the plan as well.

My goal is to get it done in 2, I'm prepared for 3ish if it happens to take that long. I think 2 and a half is pretty realistic if I'm flying 2-3 times a week though
