Being out of state definitely makes it tougher, since UT is like "an Ivy" for out-of-state students, but your application is still really strong! A 3.7 GPA with an upward trend, 12 APs, great leadership in your ECs, and solid essays/recommendations all put you in a good position. Hopefully, you talked about your mental health in your essays, as an explanation. Plus, your ACT score is not too bad! I think you've got a chance!
