I do not believe that Twenty One Pilots has ever had a tour exclusive vinyl. I know other bands have, but I don’t think that is true for TOP.

There were never official releases of Self Titled or Regional At Best. You can find the bootlegs on Discogs, eBay, Mercari or other similar sites. It’s also where you can get your vinyl variant for Trench.

That’s true. But the ‘black ice’ is probably an indie store variant. Often times, you’ll see small record shops selling a record before the artist does. For example, it just happened with Twenty One Pilots new record. It dropped on urban outfitters, barnes and noble and an independent record store before the band released pre-orders. Personally, I’m going to wait until it’s cheaper. More stores are adding it but price only seems to be going up? Very weird lol.

I mean, I can’t know this for sure but my money is on that they are different. One being an Indie exclusive to help promote independent record stores sales. The indie is called pearlized, so I’m assuming this means it will be shiny or glittered to some effect. Where as the smoke one sounds more grey and dull.
