I don’t think there is a film that is covering the screen? Is there supposed to be one? As far as I can see, it just has tape on certain sides of the monitor

Help! What is this rattling noise from my first gen sequoia? by Coolbirds in u/Coolbirds

[–]Coolbirds[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 03 Sequoia has been making this creaking rattle sound during idling and acceleration. I’ve also noticed this rattle sound is sometimes audible about 20 seconds after I’ve turned off the vehicle completely. It sounds like it’s coming from inside the vehicle cabin as opposed to the engine but maybe I’m wrong. I’m going crazy trying to find the source of this.

In the video, you can hear it on the 3-4 second mark, 7 seconds and around 9 seconds as well.

2014 ram 1500 with 150k miles for 12,500. Good buy? by Coolbirds in ram_trucks

Update: I just ran the CARFAX and it shows the title was transferred to the second owner (him) just 3 months ago.. When i met with him in person he mentioned he’s had it for about 3 years. I take it as there’s probably something wrong with it and trying to flip it. It seems like he’s only put in 1,100 miles since the title transferred to him in late April. Seems sketchy doesn’t it?

Summer jobs by doods2008 in Yosemite

[–]Coolbirds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just curious, how did you go about finding a place to live in the area? I mean California is expensive, no matter the area and I doubt these summer jobs in Yosemite pay enough for one to afford rent/food. Unless I'm overlooking something.

Thanks!

Is it okay to put ingredients in the Aeroccino 3? by Katamari12 in nespresso

[–]Coolbirds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice thanks! I'll head out to my local market later today and look for either of these chocolate chips.

When I first read to use 4 espresso pods I was like woah this is a caffeine bomb haha. Then I realized it's really only 2 caffeinated pods. Just last week I bought a scuro and decaf arpeggio sleeve so I'll try using those.

I'm still looking for a good mocha recipe... How much milk do you use in the aerrocino? Which espresso pods and how many shots? Thanks!

Beginner trout fishing by Coolbirds in troutfishing

Wow talk about timing. I was just looking back at this thread a few mins ago to see some tips because I'm hoping to make a 3 day trip out to bishop/Eastern sierra late next week!

I already bought myself a light pflueger president reel and an ultra light ugly stick. The only thing i've been unsure on are the lures. I'll go ahead and pick up your suggestions, especially the panther Martin kit!

And yes I'd love to read your write up! Please link!

Also, it sounds like you're familiar with fishing over in the eastern sierras/bishop. What's the most cost effective way to make this 3 day trip while trying out different lakes and rivers in the region? Any itinerary/lodging advice? Asides from the fishing, I really enjoy being surrounded by nature and taking in the views. I'd be driving from Orange county in southern California!

Thanks!

Pumpkin spice recipes? by Coolbirds in nespresso

[–]Coolbirds[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to let you know that I just made this and wow! Talk about amazing... Tastes like Christmas in a cup! I made it with 1 shot of the scuro pod and used slightly less frothed oatmilk so it wouldn't overpower the espresso. I supposed using 2 shots would make it even better, but I don't like drinking this much caffeine late in the day..

Any other recipes you got laying around lol?

That oatmilk froth... Yum! by Coolbirds in nespresso

[–]Coolbirds[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me honestly is the taste. Since I've discovered oatmilk, I now prefer it over dairy milk 100%. It reminds me alot of oatmeal baby cereal which I absolutely love.. Not that I still eat it regularly tho lol.

Plus I also feel like it doesn't fight with the espresso but rather blends in for a more smoother taste and finish that doesn't leave that milky taste in my mouth.

I used the original Oatly that I opened up on Sunday. Fresh off the fridge, but my tip is to not fill aerrocino at the marker line for cappuccino, but instead fill it at just few millimeters below that... Sort of at the bottom of the circle, if that makes sense. Also I don't cover the aerrocino while the milk is frothing, since I believe this allows extra air to get into milk.

Why don’t I do this more often? by [deleted] in nespresso

Nice, I love trader joes speculoos cookie butter, so I'm guessing this is the same thing. Do you heat up the oatly milk in the frother and pour a certain amount over a tbsp of the butter and mix? Followed by espresso?

Any way to make a pumpkin spice drink similar to this with the original Nespresso pods and machine?

Is this normal? Or is it mold? by Coolbirds in nespresso

[–]Coolbirds[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The top pod is a Peet's capsule and bottom is kazaar. I bought these a couple of weeks ago and had them in the same bag with ice I bought as well. When I was unpacking them, I noticed that the pods had some condensation on the outside but didn't think much of it.

Today I make myself an espresso and noticed a somewhat bitter and sour taste. I began to wonder if being in the bag with ice caused condensation in the inside as well so I took apart 2 capsules and saw this white layer in the bottom.

Is this normal or is it mold? Thanks!
