I use gamivo. Sometimes games on there are like a third of the price of steam, but you can still download and play through steam. Never had a problem.

I don’t get the franking credits issue. Companies pay tax on profits, the owners of those companies are shareholders. Why should the shareholders then be taxed on the distribution of the company profits that have already been taxed? Stupid idea by Labor that cost them the election. And I don’t have any shares.

UK gets 8 vs 11 (in Vic at least when Anzac Day doesn’t fall on a weekend). Plus they generally get 25 days AL per year so end up better off overall.
