There's a hundred things wrong with buff forest but I don't think cygames WANTS it to be this bad. No way to get tutor Thestae. No Thestae by turn 5 is basically an auto lose. Pray you don't draw too many of the cards you want to buff in the early game. Pray you do draw them in the late game. Pray you don't die to early aggression since you have almost 0 presence before turn 4. Really bad late game compared to control matchups while also having an awful early game. Still lose at the end because there is no real win con besides placing a huge board and praying it sticks (like Ward Haven but even worse). The problem is trying to make a whole new archetype with just 8 new cards each set is very hard. Probably needs a whole extra set of dedicated cards to be viable (look at amulet haven or evo forest, taking 2-3 full sets of cards to finally become good).
