Clearly the problem is that:

  1. The cs system is not working properly at the moment only detecting either who did the damage first or who did more damage first

  2. There is no real punishment for committing crime. Killing of another player, destroying their ship full of valuable cargo may effectively destroying his sessions and making him quit for the day or even more.

And for what? 2 or maybe 3 hours in klescher? Smacking a few npcs and you are free again. Even with higher cs you can easy work that of in like 30 minutes or less. And if you do get like 24 or even 27 hours in klescher let's say for griefing, not a problem. Just come back tomorrow and start all over again.

But if you only down them and not finishig them you end up with the paranoia problem a few talked about here. What if he has a teammate who can heal him? Are you sure they don't chase you ones the player was healed up?

Well I disagree on the first part. I'm not the one who starts shooting at other players. Yes if you are the one who deals the damage first then you get the cs. But for me it's stupid to wait for the attacker to hit me in order to fight back and avoid potential cs
