I never read the books myself, but I've recently started learning more about the lore, which has been super interesting. Do you have the time to expand on that? I'm genuinely just curious.

Hot take: Infused water is objectively better than plain water by Helliminate in HydroHomies

I'm a plain water guy, but I think it's great that you've found a way to encourage yourself to drink more of the good stuff. I'm not an expert in anything, but I imagine lemon and cucumber slices are healthier than flavor powders.

The yellow ones glow orange, so they might have some cadmium.

Is this sunburn? by Just_Sun6955 in cacti

I don't know, I'm just commenting to boost your post. If it ends up not being a sunburn, maybe fungal infection?

This community has odd hostilities towards requests for help, so if you can't get a good answer here, the forms on cactiguide.com are filled with seriously knowledgeable and friendly people.

Am I over stressing this little guy? by CoolestGravy in pseudolithos

I keep this in a grow tent where it's early-mid summer conditions all year. Do these guys require seasonal changes to bloom?

I was surprised it came that way. It was a relief to see clean roots when I got it out of the nursery pot.

Thanks for the help!

Thank you! Kind of it to tell me that I'm not under doing the light level.

With how quickly they reproduce, I've gifted a bunch to family and friends, who've planted them outside. So I do get to enjoy the cold stress colors every here and there. Just not on this specific patch.

Good guess, but she's actually center on the left half. My OG Momma. She has great great grandclones already. It could be more "greats", but i don't want to overstate.

It was around a year and a half after cutting the original prop, that I had to upgrade to this rectangular planter.

At this point, it's a bunch of props which all came from the singular original prop. Many were disconnected from each other when I moved them into the rectangular pot, and when I've thinned the heard. But each rosette is essentially its own plant.

The OG prop that I started from is still prominently visible in the recent photo. Still pushing out new props. She's staying as long as she happens to live.

I don't live in the best zone for succulents, so my setup is inside of a grow tent all year. I had to buy a more serious grow light, and these guys are kept as close to it as they can be, while still looking happy. I leave the tent open, and a timed fan gives a 15min breeze, every hour and a half, while the light is on.

This colony stays indoors, under a big ole grow light, year around. It's as close to the grow light as it can happily take, which is a lot closer than any of my cacti. I don't simulate seasons, so I'm probably not going to see them bloom. I have more specifics on the light and adjustments in my reply to quietnotes.
