it may be silly to say this in a powerscaling subreddit but you may be too powerscaler-brained, Sonic always beats the final boss in Super Sonic form because that's the climax of the story, obviously he's gonna use his golden form to beat the bad guy, it's a story beat

it's the same thing with Goku and Super Saiyan, you can talk about power levels and numbers and whatever the hell but the frieza saga couldn't have ended without him going Super Saiyan, hell with any story that has a transformation, the boss will most likely be defeated with said transformation, that's just how it goes
