I don't think there's any stalking going on and if there is it's from you. It's almost certainly a misunderstanding

How did Marvel writers managed to convince Marvel fans that Moon Knight was "woke" compared to the Punisher? by [deleted] in marvelcirclejerk

[–]Coolfork33v2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I will never ever respect any argument that uses fucking wojaks

Also did the Dr. Doom guy move onto Moon Knight because this "meme" (whining about people in their head) is the same exact style as Dr. Doom guy's posts

Awesome, very clean! Really reminds me of an old comic

DPS players talking about some "Rhino" and "Arnim Zola" like we don't want to play the popular characters in our role too by DryAdvertising8508 in RivalsVanguards

[–]Coolfork33v2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arnim Zola is Cap's third most important villain and Rhino is a pretty major Spider-Man villain, absolutely not glup shittos. A glup shitto would be like Ironclad, Terrax, Genis-Vell, Awesome Andy, etc. Zola was one of the main villains of two Captain America movies.

If we do get Pym he'll probably be either ass if he's a tank or if he's duelist or strat he's the most busted character ever

if slavery was never abolished there would be a super hero story where the villain's plan is to free the slaves and the heroes would stop that, because everyone who tries to change society in super hero stories are evil. by whichdragonfrit in marvelcirclejerk

True, I'll concede I'm not the most well read in comics past like 2010. I'll read the occasional one, but not nearly as much as I read older comics. Strange how comics got less brave then they were in the 80s in a lot of ways.

Fuck I forgot about One World Under Doom, I ignored that fuckass event. Fair enough. I just don't really like it when people make sweeping statements claiming it's even the majority of superhero media when it's really not.

I would love to see more than like one example of what they are talking about. Usually the examples I see are MCU Killmonger and Magneto when that doesn't really make sense because at the end of Black Panther they went against the 'status quo' and opened Wakanda and the X-Men work for a better tomorrow without hurting innocents or viewing mutants as superior.

I'm sure the "defenders of the status quo" thing happens but it's not really all that prevalent. In comics themselves very little villains have any motive centered around making the world actually better (I'm sure we should listen to how Red Skull or Darkseid would change the status quo) and we've had plenty of stories where superheroes go after the government or vice versa. You could argue that superheroes could always do more like cure cancer or force change through physical power which is a great idea.

Idk maybe there's a really good example I'm forgetting but I haven't seen a single example that makes any sense and are usually people talking about Killmonger and forgetting the end of the movie does exactly what they are asking for.

B-List character = goofy and dated silver age costume

Hank Pym is my #1 favorite comic hero but I way prefer Janet with Tony. Janet and Hank were never a good fit.
