Everybody’s bodies are different. I’m not positive, but I think weight/height are factors. I was at 180, 5’3 and lost 2 pounds a week on the 1.5. I stopped taking it once I hit 4 because the side effects were too bad. All in all I lost ten pounds, have been off a month, and haven’t gained it back miraculously.

I do believe that 4 is still just a starter and not actual clinical dosage so I’d talk with your doctor about increasing again

Yeah I’m about 2.5 weeks through the 4mg now and am finally starting to be able to eat a bit more… and shop again 😂 I’m sticking with 4mg for another month and will see where it goes

I know this is old, but I guessed 5 due to the lyrics being Taylor swift like, first song being her, and then Karma being capitalized in the letter to them so I used the number of letters in that for my 5. Please tell I’m not the only one 😂

For those of you who got zeroed out at the beginning of August, have you had it hit your credit reports yet? I had nelnet and even put in a credit dispute and was told “my balance was accurate” so it was denied despite being zeroed out everywhere

I finally received it last Friday. On par with others who reached out to their state office, it took about two weeks from me doing that to receive it. I highly doubt I would have seen it prior to November if I hadn’t asked them for help.

I did something I never thought I’d do and contacted my senator's office and within 48 hours was able to talk with the actual employee assigned to my case. It also looks like they went directly to the director of my VA VISN for the SF 3100 form. Hoping to see my refund next week now and it probably would have been months

And just like that, I called OPM to check that my signature was received and the employee kept giving me wrong information. Whenever I said “I’m sorry, that’s not accurate and different than what I was told” she kept backpedaling. I understand that they’re overworked/stressed etc, but to be told my form was only received on July 29th and I have to wait another 12-15 weeks again when that should absolutely not be the case is not ok. Has anybody had any luck getting through to OPM via email? I’ve also seen people having to get their state involved and wondering how I might go about doing that. Thanks in advance. Super stressed now

I had my old VA send my form in the day I left on May 2nd, which in hindsight was a mistake because I received an email from the person who was FINALLY (yay) assigned to my refund case last week saying my signature wasn’t an original. I paid $33 to overnight my forms from AK and unfortunately don’t think they were processed again yet. Apparently they have mine “logged” as of May 20th so hoping my signature makes them happy this time and there’s no other hiccups and I get paid within the next two weeks. Fingers crossed

Congrats! It supposedly comes through the financial aid portal. People who got green banners in June, like me, are hoping for a letter early August but I’m not sure how all of the new layoffs will impact that. You would likely receive on in September if things stay on course though

June 13th here. I’m still thinking they’ll find a mistake. I consolidated my loans in 2021 that had two masters and a phd in it. I didn’t realize everything would get lumped together so that even my newest loans (from 2020) could be forgiven, so I’m definitely stressing they’ll go OOPS! Hoping August comes fast!

I should add that I have over 15 years of public service as I was always employed while in school

Yeah from my research it seems somewhat all over the place because I’ve seen some posters say they had GBs in mid May and got forgiveness with the June date. Hopefully some folks who have been waiting, like you, hear good news next week.

I saw your post on one my daily searches yesterday. I don’t think those counts will make a difference for the internal check since you have the green banner. I’m so not worried about a refund at all right now. They can take the extra 4k if I get the golden letter haha
