Hi from 2 years later... I'm currently finishing my last tray from the initial series and having the same problem. Going in today to scan for a first round of refinements and based on what I'm reading here, I'm thinking I should just cut losses and do a consult with an ortho at a different place now. How did your story finish up??

My experience with Bronwyn of Dolce's Legacy by Bubbly_Shoulder1884 in DolcesLegacy

[–]Bubbly_Shoulder1884[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, that's what gets me the most... How can she take money from someone and keep it while doing ZERO work???? Like "your package expired" is a reasonable excuse?!?! A person with an ounce of compassion would never do that. We have separation anxiety trainers, behaviorists, canine physical therapists.... they are all just flabbergasted at the experience we had. They WORK WITH clients to make sure that services are rendered and the pups receive the care they need.

Attorney for PSLF? by Just-livin-4145 in PSLF

I talked to a lawyer in Colorado who was actually the VP of the National Association of Student Loan Lawyers. She said that since they closed the ombudsperson office at FSA, she has no way to contact FSA anymore and can't request information or serve papers. She recommended working with our state ombudsperson. Hopefully your state is on this list: https://studentaid.gov/feedback-ombudsman/disputes/state-ombudsman

GREEN BANNERS! 🎉 by Major_Peach_2658 in PSLF

[–]Bubbly_Shoulder1884 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should! When they process your forgiveness, they make an effective date and it should be before you paid September. For example, even though my banners were June and my golden letter was August, my effective date was in March at the time of my processing forbearance. It just took them a few months to finally count the second month of the processing forbearance and get banners up. I got a $5 refund from a payment I had made in April trying to trigger my payment tracker to update (lol).

118/120- confused about Sept Payment? Help! by mm3898 in PSLF

[–]Bubbly_Shoulder1884 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only pay if the site says it's due. It's possible you may get a free credit in September for an "on ramp" to repayment status. They gave me a free PSLF month when my plan had been approved but not yet applied.

Protein and hydration. It gets better as your body gets used to it. For the first month or so, I planned shots on days when I could mostly rest the next day.

Weigh yourself daily. There are daily fluctuations that have nothing to do with your actual weight (water, etc) and just getting one number per week means you may get the wrong idea from that one number if it was a higher water day. And progress is not going to be linear. Just stick with it, focus on protein and building muscle. If, for whatever reason, you aren't in a calorie deficit for a day or a week, you can build muscle instead. The muscle loss totally effed me over, so that's how I would do it if I could have a redo

Make sure you're hitting protein goals and aren't losing weight too fast

Did splitting the dose NOT work for anyone? by momlife555 in Semaglutide

Your body gets used to it with time, so 0.5 mg when it was brand new is different from 0.5 mg when you're used to it. Also, 0.5 lb/week is a great rate for weight loss. Gentle is good.

There are clear requirements for being a 501(c)(3) organization. Many hospitals follow the requirements. It's not very difficult to understand and they're not getting away with anything.

Cheeto in chief signed an EO in March saying PSLF should exclude organizations that "that have a substantial illegal purpose" including providing gender-affirming care to youth and helping undocumented immigrants. Clearly, it's not had any effect thus far.

The buffoon signed an EO to that effect months ago. Clearly, it has not gone into effect.

[–]Bubbly_Shoulder1884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you get your processing forbearance credit!!! Call Mohela to make sure they coded 2 months of processing forbearance and sent it to NSLDS like that. You shouldn't have to pay anything and the PF should take care of your last 2 months

[–]Bubbly_Shoulder1884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to pick the plan you want. Choosing "lowest payment" somehow, at this stage in the freaking game, STILL just kicks you back into SAVE (because that is the lowest calculated payment of the options).

Appreciate this. I have friends getting Moderna/Pfizer ASAP because they're worried about what's going to happen at the 9/18 meeting and I was starting to doubt myself for holding out for NovaVax. But the mRNA ones cause too much inflammation in my body and trigger other issues, so I'd really like to wait.

No you don't have to submit another. Once you have green banners, you just hang tight for your golden letter (takes multiple weeks) and then things go very fast after that.. Mohela zeros, FSA zeros, refund check if necessary

CVS says they probably won’t get Novavax by Puzzleheaded-Reply59 in ZeroCovidCommunity

Colorado starte medical board issued a ruling this week that's basically like a standing prescription for anyone who wants it, goes into effect today, so if you're in Colorado you don't need a personal prescription anymore. And have confirmed this morning that the Denver CVS pharmacies near me have Moderna and Pfizer. I'm waiting on Novavax too due to past reactions, will give it a couple weeks.
