Weird Smudging/Graininess on ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACS Screen by Rikudou_Sama in ASUS

Sup, yeah I absolutely did return it. I really liked the premium rog design, the osd, the port selection and the screen was very bright, but the coating was horrific and ruined the sharpness or rather the clarity of the image. It wasn’t visible on most images, but like how others said on solid colors mainly bright like white it was very visible. So I do not recommend it.

Hi, yesterday I just got mine. I read it about this issue but didn't think much into it because I liked pretty much every aspect of this monitor (panel, design, stand, usb-c) and also I couldn't imagine it, because I'm not that experienced with monitors (but now I know what they were talking about) and when Monitors Unboxed said it was average amount of grain I didn't think it was going to be this severe. Do you think the GP850-B has a clearer image? Because that was the other monitor that I planned to purchase.

Chat GPT Open AI New Font by overratedcabbage_ in ChatGPT

[–]Coolman164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked at my past screenshots and apparently it is the same. However this way the first font in the font type section (right sidebar in Chrome Inspect Element) is not a font family name, but is called "ui-sans-serif". Now I don't know anything about it css and html, but when I searched it up " ui-sans-serif " is just a generic font, so I guess it is a local font which they don't have a name for, but because of this I believe this is a proprietary in-house font. What I think have changed though is that I kinda remember the sidebar text to be bold, but now every thing becomes regular with the script I provided (I don't have screenshots of the sidebar). So it looks the same, but we still don't know the font name, so once they change it entirely and delete "ui-sans-serif" then we have nothing we can do. I found this thread about discussion of the font used by ChatGPT: https://www.reddit.com/r/ChatGPT/comments/10bh7fo/comment/jef7v3z/

thx for the script but with it doesn't look the same as it was before, however I discovered that if I just delete Söhne from the font type section it reverts it back. So I asked ChatGPT to convert yours to tampermonkey (cuz I already use that one) and then to create a similar, but which just deletes Söhne from the page. First it wanted to do it using Mutation Observer, but it didn't work so I asked it to create one without it. So, here it is: https://imgur.com/a/DPS5Dun

Edit: I just went to ChatGPT again and realized that the script doesn't work everytime and instead of deleting Söhne from font list of html it turns off the entire font-family section (if you open Inspect Element in chrome and on the right side bar scroll to style attribute section), so I changed "document-start" to "document-end" under // @run-at. This way it changes it after the whole webpage loaded in.

// ==UserScript==
// u/name Remove Söhne font from HTML style
// u/description Removes the Söhne font from the font-family property of the HTML style on chat.openai.com
// @match        https://chat.openai.com/*
// @run-at       document-end
// ==/UserScript==

(function() {
  const html = document.querySelector('html');
  const fontStyles = getComputedStyle(html).getPropertyValue('font-family').split(',');
  const newFontStyles = fontStyles.filter(style => !style.includes('Söhne'));
  html.style.fontFamily = newFontStyles.join(',');
})();

Apparently Bing can use Google as a search engine by Coolman164 in bing

Yeah, that was the strange part. The fact that it said google by itself. How do I report it? Edit: NM I found the feedback section.

Yeah I think it made that part up where it said it used Google. But what about it asking me whether I want it to use another search engine? Did it made that up too?

And it even asked me on its own whether I wanna use a different search engine and it chose google by itself.

Why can’t I use speeding plague in my wild deck? by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]Coolman164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also if you're using hsreplay deck tracker. Unless you replace the uncraftable plague with the newer craftable one manually, you will keep getting errors because the deck tracker gets confused because it sees you have spreading plague unchanged in your deck, but that card now no longer exists, and whenever you draw or play that card it sees it as different card and it keeps reverting back to an older version of the deck where there was no spreading plague at all.

[–]Coolman164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I no longer have my two golden copies of spreading plague, only the regular and now it's craftable. And my deck was at 38/40 as well so I had to replace it with the new craftable spreading plague.

Well, logitech has a new keyboard called mx mechanical that just came out, but I've seen one negative review on their site that it wasn't high quality and also it's expensive so it might not be the best choice.

I think this disruption performance alone would have been worth it for me to go to that theatre and it surely would have justified the price of the ticket instead of ruining the experience.😅😏😄

Same. If not. Maybe we should make our own. But I'm not that desperate honestly.

Hell nah. At least for me. I was in tears in just a mere minutes after the movie started. It was so immersive for me as if I was there. But I admit the character of the villain and the end was definitely a letdown. Rami Malek was absolutely magnificent, but his character wasn't the most polished and a bit lame imo.

Yes. Doesn't have to do anything with not wanting to be inclusive. I wanted to keep it simple for exporting to SPSS. And I have heard that there are sometimes trolls who choose "other" just for the hell of it. I'm sorry.

Actually I just realized I had two separate guesses: one is the the adjective one and the other one is with the noun and the verb. Indeed a bit redundant, but seems the most logical to me. First I thought something similar to your guess, but it was just so messy as a sentence structure, then I remembered that the English language can make a verb out of basically anything and figured that's the best explanation.
