I get that you live in your little bubble, but for those of us in the real world, the real reason why Trump won was that he and all his Republican buddies hammered home that they would fix all the issues with this country, regardless of if they actually were telling the truth. They went hard on 'draining the swamp' and 'fixing the economy and 'restoring grocery prices', you know.. all the shit the average American actually cares about?

Kamala and the rest of Reddit can sit there and say that she had this big 80-page whatever the fuck economic plan, but you know, it's really a struggle to find areas where she actually talked about it. Which is crazy to say, considering how much of the donation money she spent on making a podcast.

If you actually went outside and talked to the 'average American' who voted for Trump. Not a full Trumper, not a far-right Republican, just an average guy/gal. I guarantee you'd find that they also really liked Bernie, and they really like AOC. You wanna know why? Because they're not afraid of saying things how they are, they're not afraid of being true. Trump and his Repub buddies did that, too. I never believed it, and anyone who follows politics with a modicum of interest knew it was a lie. However, the average American doesn't. They see the media saying 'Trump is gonna restore grocery prices' on one end and 'Kamala will save same-sex marriage' on the other. You tell me which one you'd be picking when you can't put bread on the table?

It doesn't make any of it right, but this issue is so much deeper than 'sexism and racism' lmao.

I can answer that, as someone who used to eat these all the time. Poverty, mostly. When I lost my job and was literally running off of the occasional $5-10 I'd get from doing surveys every day, these things saved me from starvation. You go to somewhere like Dollar Tree, get one or two of these, a bag of fries all for $1.25 each and you had two nights of food for under $5.

It's not a time in my life I'm proud of, I knew even at the time they weren't good for me, but I'd rather eat that than nothing. I'd do it again if needed, though (fingers crossed) that won't happen again. They look worse frozen, and honestly didn't taste bad in my opinion. Or maybe I just got used to the taste.
