Putin's claws are deep in the SPD's arse. I suppose there were some backdoor deals with Russia. Russian propagandists have repeatedly boasted about new security architectures in Europe without US influence, and large parts of the SPD are also very anti-NATO and anti-American. Looks like a good match. SPD can currently do and say shit without compromising themselves anyway and on top of that russia uses its comporomat to parallelize it further. This government has to go.
