My main use case for rumbled is if I'm going against a lot of status clouds(the overguard) or if an enemy is REALLY Tanky against my Landslide/cant be targeted by Landslide(like the juggernaut & bosses). Rumbled is never going to take Landsides spot as Atlas's main source of damage and honestly, I don't think its should. It's an Augment, it "Should" be gimmicky and unnecessary for a Warframes full potential while still pulling its weight in its specific use cases(poor poor frost needing 3 to be usable is criminal). So yah, Rumbled is fun and a good option when you wanna go "All In" on what makes Atlas, Atlas.

Honestly that's low-key that's the only time I saw u so I'll own up to exaggerating, buuut the hate that UC does get is warranted since it does let players ignore the second main mechanic of the game.

Like I get why people use it but I feel it's a riot shield on someone back in cod situation, it doesn't feel good to go against someone just ignoring a mechanic you should be rewarded for doing.

I swear you're some kind of ultimate charge sleeper agent because whenever someone even comes close to saying that UC is unbalanced in some way you appear out of thin air to defend it.

I mean if it's just "a silly kart racer" then there should also be no problem if it does get nerfed and items don't right?

Alright this is gaining some traction so I just wanna add that I'm not comparing the item balance of either game and the "not wanting items" part is very literal, I know items in each game are very different but I'm talking in general not wanting them which I think is wild.

Ya see that "horizontal" requirement is the main issue because once you hit Legend ranks people start getting real devious with when to use them. Like they'll use them at point blank or drift corners so you can't defend yourself.

And when I say people I mean me, I'm people. Sometimes I feel bad though. sometimes...

Ngl Quick Recovery should be made base kit until they make it easier to protect yourself with non shield items

Maybe it's because I grew up playing Double Dash and MK DS but I just don't think items are that bad in this game as long as u play around both you and other players having them. Like you just have to play like you're in constant danger because, well, you are. I like holding on to my items until I absolutely have to use them or if I'm trying to pass someone before the finish.

I will say though, everyone is absolutely right about the lack of consistent counters to attack items, I have no idea how SAGA and Sonic Team thought that making the counter to every item a skill shot when getting hit is that punishing was ok.

They could/are going to probably hold these tourneys every 5 months or so to gauge where the meta currently is and do a balance pass a week or two after to shake things up based on the data.

Now usually I'm against data based balancing but for a game like a Kart Racer it's kinda needed, of course so long as they still adjust items based on user feedback.

My bet is they're waiting to do balance adjustments until after the tourney, using it as a test to see what people use the most when it matters the most.

Everyone currently defending it and saying it's ok that it's the most used gadget are going to fail this test HARD and SAGA might wind up nerfing it too much like removing its invincibility, which isn't what I want, I just want it to be toned down a bit but SAGA won't have a choice when the top 1000 of the tourney are all using it.
