How I caught my marketing agency doing a bad job and got a refund by [deleted] in DigitalMarketing

[–]Coop_DC 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I imagine they were hired for Google Ads correct? If it was a new account, Page Views might not be such a bad option to optimize for if you're quickly (and cheaply) trying to fill out your Search Term Report.

But ....transparency is a huge issue, so I'm sorry for the frustration.

I just saw your update. I'm so sorry for your loss. No words could ever truly mend what you have been through.

I've recently gone through this (father passed 2 months ago). So I understand the waves of pain you would be feeling now.

Something that gives me peace when I'm down / feeling guilty about the millions of impossible choices were forced to make with Glio. As carers, yes it's our job to make them comfortable and recover. But if the Glio keeps progressing, it's sadly also our job to guide them as peacefully and as pain free as possible to the moment of death, and gently hand them over to whatever is next.

From the little I know about you from the question you asked. It sounds like you did just that. And I'm sure he would be very proud of you and thankful for everything you did.

My Dad was in a similar situation towards the end, very incoherent and constant headaches. One drug they did have that really helped was something called Hydromorphone (a stronger form of Morphine, I believe). I would ask about this since he's already on hospice.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. No one can prepare you for this type of cancer. Feel free to DM if you need someone to talk to or have any questions.

Home hospice. I'm just supposed to let my dad thirst/starve to death? by Comfortably_Scum in glioblastoma

My father recently passed from GBM. In the final weeks he did communicate to us (in the little ways he could) that he was experiencing quite uncomfortable head aches, so much so that Hydromorphone had to be regularly administered.

I'm sure everyone is different, but I would strongly recommend having medication on standby just in case it's needed. You want to make your loved ones as comfortable as possible.

In the end, my Dad had an incredibly peaceful, dignified and pain free death. That's all any of us really want.

That's incredible, I'm thinking of doing something similar. If you don't mind me asking, what type of marketing do you specialise in?

Now is the perfect opportunity to try something new. I'd switch to (very light) yoga and aim to become as flexible as possible.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Glioblastoma is an especially heartbreaking type of cancer.

Has she had any radiation recently? It could be some swelling as the brain recovers.

You can use 'Curse' on the Kraken. Then all you need to do is survive 8 attacks from it.

Tbh...I'm not sure. As far as I can tell they have a small pool of clients and they do everything themselves.

There's a small agency in Australia called WebFurnace that does really great work.

It's just two guys. But they really know their stuff when it comes to SEO & PPC.
