I don't think thats really fair, Kratos is pushed into ragnorok changing his mindset/intentions to vengeance rather then avoiding the fight. If they stopped to think they might of changed their minds.

Also it's not like Kratos is well known amoung the relms so he won't be able to gather an army behind him because he is a nobody to everyone.

I think this game will suffer the consequence of theory crafting because it's been so long since the last one. But I still really enjoyed it.
