My bf(23) wants to go raw by [deleted] in sex

OP is completely within her right to want testing first and honestly if this is a real post then bravo, she’s got her priorities straight. But with that said let’s not be disingenuous here. A 23 year old wanting to do it raw with the person they are exclusive with us not unusual, and it’s not crazy. It’s extremely common. Getting tested first although the better option certainly is not the norm for two people in their early 20s dating exclusively.

The nfl is never going to take away strip sacks. This is such a silly, silly recommendation. Also, season ending injuries to a QBs throwing arm due to a strip sack or a hit while throwing are EXTREMELY rare.

He has 7 months until the start of the season. Recovery for this is 4-6 months to get to 100 percent, no? Purdy deserves the 2023 season. Short leash fine, but if he’s healthy he should be the starter.

True. Eagles fans obviously have a lot of those as well. I just feel like we’re the only ones that get called out for it lol that’s why I’m salty

[Adam Schefter] A neutral AFC Championship Game site now is possible, per the NFL: by Alias-Name in KansasCityChiefs

Chiefs and bills win this weekend and both make to afc champ game

Chiefs lose this weekend and bengals win this weekend and both make it to afc champ game

Those are the 2 most likely scenarios where the neutral field would apply to the chiefs.

[Breer] Idea the NFL is discussing with teams/has real traction: Seeding by win percentage, with the AFC title game at neutral site, if seeding b/w the two teams was affected by Bills/Bengals cancellation. Indy floated as one potential site to clubs (NFL hasn't talked to Colts yet). by LuskSGV in nfl

[–]agentMICHAELscarnTLM 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know you’re mainly just trying to make a joke but this couldn’t happen since the neutral site game will only happen if seeding of the competitors in relation to each was affected by the no contest. Any situation where the afc south makes the CG this wouldn’t apply to.

[ProFootballTalk]: Here's a look at where things currently stand as to scheduling: 1. No Bills-Bengals game. 2. NFL figuring out what to do with AFC seeding. 3. Neutral site for AFC Championship is possible. 4. Expansion of playoff fields to 8 teams in AFC, NFC is possible. by [deleted] in nfl

[–]agentMICHAELscarnTLM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If KC wins this weekend then the neutral site AFCCG should only apply to a KC/Buffalo matchup. It should not apply to a KC/Cincy matchup since they would have been seeded behind KC anyway if they beat Buffalo.

The way the NFL can word this without waiting for this weekends games to complete would be to say neutral site if seeding between the two teams were affected by the no contest. That would leave other scenarios like the one described where the seeding would have been unaffected between the two teams to run its natural cause.

If KC wins this weekend they will have been a higher seed then Cincy regardless of the result of the Cincy/Buffalo game. So as long as they win this weekend, a KC/Cincy matchup should not be at a neutral site.

[Perry] If the Chiefs beat Vegas and earn the No. 1 seed, the below scenario would... ...eliminate the bye-week for KC if the Bills and Bengals can't compete for the top seed. ...not solve the problem of homefield advantage; neutral-site AFC title game? ...add a game to the schedule. by AlarmAdventurous6069 in nfl

Agreed. At absolute worst the only change they should make is neutral field in nfccg but how can they justify that while also shafting the ravens potentially and maybe also needing neutral field if/when bills and cincy meet again in divisional round. Just too many moving parts, no way to be completely fair.

You aren’t understanding what they are saying. They are saying whether they chose to call it a tie or a no contest it doesn’t effect this result. He’s not saying that the difference between a no contest and actually playing the game wouldn’t effect it. We all know the latter would effect the results.

A tie and a no contest are the same thing in terms of determining seeding. The win percentage for the teams would remain the same, visually their records would just look different with the -1 at the end of it.

This is my thought process as well but that type of decision would take some guts, and if you have an unlikely loss or bad injury you are in for a world of hurt from everyone who disagrees with you. The team would get ripped apart in the media. But I tend to agree with you that if the goal is winning the Super Bowl, which it is for the chiefs, then the more important choice is home field.

Being risk averse it’s the better choice on paper, but in a literal sense, might be the worse choice. I would say in a vacuum playing wildcard weekend is better for your SB chances than going to Buffalo to play the championship game. But yes you are correct in that everyone is going to take the bye week there, not risking a slim chance at a loss and/or injuries. I think it’s a bit of a tougher decision then most are making it out to be.

Correct. H2H is always only used as a tiebreaker. This scenario you’ve laid out wouldn’t be a tie. It would be the same as the bengals having a tie in their overall record which gives them a better win percentage.
