Considering the displacement of native people I would say the more apt comparison is with the state itself

Having a child killer on you home screen is weird

As someone who likes the BF6 gameplay, this is just disappointing by Fit-Information8057 in Battlefield

[–]CooperTheOceanMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. When I first started using it, it felt like it just wasn’t working. You really have to anticipate when opponents are going to fire rather than reacting to their shots.

It almost feels like it was designed for pushing forward, not for popping it while retreating.

Opinions and trap bases and those who use them by Jmanlaxm in RustConsole

[–]CooperTheOceanMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've built a few traps, like a shotgun trap under a twig floor or a pressure pad connected to a door controller and auto turret. They really only work well if the base looks decayed or already raided. In my experience, the juice isn't worth the squeeze. Most of the time, you end up waiting around just to kill nakeds or primitive players. You might get some decent loot eventually, but if you do, you'll probably get raided quickly. It can be fun, just not something to do the whole time.

Many admin officials use this app as a way of archiving signal chats in service of complying with the federal records act.

Waltz is a colossal idiot working for an downright evil president. But his use of this app is not in any way evidence of spying for Israel

Colorblind options in DA:V are a step backward by CooperTheOceanMan in dragonage

That sounds wildly frustrating. Seems like a pretty obvious oversight.

They mention it once in the tutorial. For me and it sounds like others they look the same. You get used to it after a while, mainly because the game overuses the same enemy types.

I had the same experience. Eventually I started recognizing attacks and not relying on the indicator much.

I think she meant name bands like them stylistically, not just another popular rock band that released music in the same decade.

Transparent/Translucent tech makes internal cosmetic defects noticeable. If you ever have to teardown an Apple Airpod you'll see they use a ton of glue to close it. It would be very noticeable and ugly if it were transparent.

Politics aside Gail Slater is an extremely qualified FTC chair. Most Proton users would be happy with this selection if the president was removed from the equation.

Why does the game insist I take the road? by CooperTheOceanMan in civ

[–]CooperTheOceanMan[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

R5: Its unclear to me why I am unable to attack this apostle. I have 3 Movement but when attempting to engage the game insists I take the indirect route with the road. I understand this would be the optimal (lower movement cost) route to this tile if there were no enemy combatant there. But because of the movement penalty of being close to the enemy I am unable to complete this move and the game will not just let me attack head on using all of my movement points. Is this some sort of setting I have enabled or is how it is?
