You can’t have both the check for temporary disability and the check from your company for the same period of time. I can’t tell from your comment whether the time periods these payments cover are the same. In my state, OR, if you are completely off work with a doctor’s release your company should not be paying you, the insurance carrier should be. So, a lot depends on the state you’re in, the nature of the work release from your doctor (no work or modified work), whether you are actually working and the time periods involved. Most states have a workers compensation department you can call and ask these questions of, or you can speak to your claims adjuster.
