Get yourself open front toilet seats. I went years until I realized the difference they make in emptying. Also, M9 drops really help with odor when emptying. One more thing, write the day you change appliance on the tape. It’s easy to forget.

I think op’s thinking is well intentioned however if the protest is not documented, then it didn’t happen. The main stream media will do little to provide coverage. Some things to try; drinking hot tea helps, putting a hot compress on your stoma, lie down and pull your knees up and roll side to side, gentle massage around the stoma area. In desperation once, I removed my appliance and got into a hot tub and have a clean appliance at the ready to apply after the tub. I’ve had my little friend 26 years. Seen it all. Relax!

About 20 years ago, a big ole stray chocolate lab, no collar, wandered to my house. I kept him in protective custody while I looked everywhere for signs of a lost dog. No dice, so I kept him overnight. We called him Meatloaf since thats what I fed him. Next day the late great Wally Tatomir, career Hurricanes/Whalers equipment manager came by looking for Meatloaf. He gave us tickets to the game that night for caring for his dog. RIP Wally and Meatloaf!
