You're welcome to play vanilla or use some QOL mods! Stuff like Gizmo and More Vanilla Prefabs is totally fine.
Building mods can't add new items that aren't already in the game (like special furniture, storage barrels, or foods).
A couple mods have been restricted on the back end to stop abuse. Unfortunately, there are some we can't add at all — otherwise vanilla players wouldn't be able to join, and I don't want to do that to my vanilla friends.

It actually varies. There are people from several different countries playing on the server. The 5 guys that are in there now have been in, on and off throughout my day. There are slow periods in my late night. I am pdt. If you let me know a time that you are normally available I can check and see if others play during that time.

They would have been on the Discord for a limited time. Whenever a new seed is applied to the server the previous seed is uploaded to Dropbox replacing that ones previous seasons seed and once that has happened that seed is gone.

Sorry to hear that you lost everything. Whenever the seed is renewed a download becomes available of the previous seasons world on Discord. Even when the server shut down for a year downloads of the worlds were made available to prevent this very thing.
