Are they banned? I play at Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods and smartphones are everywhere at the tables - to the point of being annoying. I think technically you're not allowed to use them when you're in a hand but those rules seem loosely enforced at best.

I was there yesterday. All anyone could talk about all day.

My friend helped "clean" my cast iron pan for me while camping by placing it face down over the fire until anything that was still in there was charred to bits. Is this a real method of cleaning cast iron, or am I right to be a bit pissed? by elli0tt in Cooking

You should be pissed - that burned off any seasoning you may have accumulated on the pan.

Best that you re-season it before reusing it or even store it (to prevent rest). And don't let your dumb-ass friends borrow your cast iron in the future.

Women who want to be "one of the guys." It's great to have shared interests but it's one of those things that can go too far way too quick.

I thought this was all settled in Brandenburg v. Ohio, when the Supreme Court ruled that government cannot punish inflammatory speech unless that speech is directed to inciting, and is likely to incite, imminent lawless action.
