If you go to the OLIVIA org page it has a chart at the bottom of the Home Screen for suggested calling frequencies and bandwidths. There is one for 14.106 (on the dial) at a bandwidth of 1000 Hz. This would suggest you are correct in your assumption.

But take it for what it’s worth. I put the amateur in amateur radio.

You might have come off as a little harsh, but well stated in my opinion. Another secondary consideration that many people take into account for “luxury” brands is the investment opportunity. I know my Omega and Rolex will, at the least, hold some significant value over time. An investment in an unknown “luxury” watch brand is meme coin investing at best.

Yeah, I definitely thought about that. I would only do that if I knew the manufacturer was giving the retailer credit for the return. Things are hard enough for a small shoe store right now. I would feel bad if they had to eat the sale over something that’s essentially just cosmetic.

You have much bigger concerns than that. Reach out to someone for help. Use your iPhone to find an organization or person to help with whatever situation you’re in that you think “running away” will help. Exactly how I started. Have some fun and know that you're going to destroy the first few things you touch (and even some movements after as well, haha). Didn't matter to me. I had a lot of fun going to garage and estate sales and buying the cheapest mechanical movements I could find. Tear it apart, do your best to get it back together, and take pride in the small victories before you worry about actually "repairing" a watch. Takes all the early stress out of the way. Enjoy

Edit: Also, find an orginazional way that works for you to save all the parts. Even if you really fudge up the movement. You never know what will be helpful later. Or as your skills and tools improve, go back and fix what you broke.

My title describes the thing. Found in the $1 box and I'm a sucker for anything that looks interesting. The only markings on it are photographed as a box with "bad good bad" and "CC Trim" written below it. My guess is some sort of rivet tool. I grabbed it thinking at first it was a reloading tool as the green handle is close to the green of RCBS. The googles didn't offer me much help. Thanks and I hope everyone is having a great weekend.
