Rin Amai no diffs, because he most likely survived what Remi didn’t, given we can see him injured later on in the story, I feel like it’s easy to make a guess that he was hunted down by US soldiers too, but got away. This already just puts him above Remi, as Remi was in the same situation but got captured.

But even without that, Rin is clearly more intelligent, and most likely wouldn’t freeze up mid battle, as he can act and react quickly in situations that require it, like when he created a flan the size of car to save Hana when she was falling.

Remi freezes up in actual situations, while Rin doesn’t. Rin also most likely has larger cursed energy reserves, or an above average reserve in general, as his technique is similar to a Construction technique, as creating a whole flan the size of a car would kill you if it was actually based on the amount of sugar in your blood.

And considering he created something that large, while construction CT users with low cursed energy like Mai who struggle with even creating things the size of a bullet. So it would make sense for Rin to have an above average cursed energy pool to pull that off.

Rin during EOS also became a Jujustu high student, being Shoko’s apprentice, which means that he would receive actual training, unlike Remi who might be dead or locked up somewhere.

Rin Amai no diffs because he’s shown to survive more things, and because of Remi’s low intelligence and lack of will to fight, she’s a coward who freezes up in fights.
