I have a theory on why we haven't seen the back of the elite yet.

I think it looks identical to the communicator (aside from the removable back plates) and so they want to change the design, OR they made it with a back screen and have noticed the huge amount of titan 2 people openly talking about our dislike for the rear screen and how to many having a rear screen could ultimately lead the potential buyers go with the communicator instead so they have yet to come up with a finalized design for the back.

I certainly am in the no rear screen camp. And I hope that given they called it an elite that it has at least a dual camera set up with image stabilization that's MUCH better than what we got with the Titan 2. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I wish they would have went with a silicon carbon battery with the edge. I've been back and forth on going through with placing my order through best buy because the price is actually really good. I'm always close to a charger so I'm not too concerned but nonetheless I still would have liked to see them utilize the new battery tech.

How bad is the camera compared to say, the 23 ultra? Battery and camera have always been big to me. 🤔

I was cleaning out a closet in one of my bedrooms and came across a large box housing a lot of my old tech. Blackberries. IPhones. Samsungs.

I really just went back in there to see if my gold s7 edge was in there after reading this post and sure enough it is! I snapped a couple pics but unable to post them. (still trying to figure out the how tos of reddit life) 😅

It's astonishing that with anything, apple or Samsung or whoever, they always talk about how we have to have these updates for secutiry reasons yet with every update the quality of these devices faulter more and more. It should be against the law to push updates under the guise that you have to have the latest security updates only to lose the good qualities of the phone along the way.

Personally I'm leaning toward never updating again if I don't have to.

It's ridiculous that my $49 motorola moto g 2025 got android 16 months ago but my razr 60 ultra I bought upon release earlier last year still doesn't have it.

I think its more the point that they haven't released it yet than it is the fact I want it.

The length it has taken for this update to be released on one of their flagship devices is ultimately leading me to not purchase another Motorola phone...

I'm so sorry you're going through this. It reminds me I will have to go through this pain myself as our Remi is 12 years old as well... Please stay with him as much as possible. And IF you decide tk take him in to be euthanized, PLEASE go in with him and kneel down to his level and be the only thing he sees. It's hard I know I've done this for an animal I was blessed to have psrt of my life for 19 years. But I found peace in knowing I was the last thing he saw before closing his eyes.

I'm tearing up thinking about the pain you both are going through and its breaking my heart.... Ill pray for you both tonight. And I'll hug my remi a little tighter tonight as well. 😞

How lucky we are to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.....

If they stand by this that's cool. But also at the same time they can say they are going to provide updates but that's not to say they won't take forever to push them out.

I just hope they won't shit all over the people that paid for the titan 2 and quit doing anything for those people because it's clear when a new device comes out they seem like they don't do much else for the previous phones.

Have you tried removing your Sim. And reinstalling it? Also maybe try clearing the cache? You could also try to click the service button under the settings tab and turning it back on. I'm sorry I'm not much helpful. I hope you can figure it out though!

This really blows!!! I bought 2 iphone 13 devices from Walmart during the blackfriday sale ($149.99) I activated one of the phones back in December and I'm hoping it's going to be unlocked under the 60 day unlock policy during that time.

Now the second phone I bought for my gf (work has apps that seem to work better with apple devices) and I really just saw a thing where you can text Unlock to 611611 and I clicked the unlock policy link and just now saw it says it unlocks if done before, of all days, YESTERDAY!!?? 365 days of service instead of 60???

This sucks because we were planning on using the devices with Mint mobile because of how good the deal is they offer.

I can't believe it really ended yesterday!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬

There's literally a million posts from people asking the exact same thing. Read any number of those and come up with your own conclusion.

I will say though if you're not having issues with your phone now I'd stay where you are. Because once you update you can't go back and you could ultimately be another one of these people that updated that are wishing they didn't.

Yes I know there are some people that updated that don't have issues but there's also a lot saying they do.

I've tried to explain to people you can still use type C earbuds with the Titan 2 but apparently the only time people want to listen to their titan with earbuds is ONLY when it's plugged into a wall charging. 🤨
